Sabbath Study Notes - November 6, 2010
"THE RIGHT WAY - HOW FAR WILL WE GO FOR THE MOST HIGH?"
Intro: These notes are commentaries, so one would need to follow along and actually read the verses for themselves.
The original King James Version is what we recommend the reader to use.
We also utilize The Scriptures published by Institute for Scripture Research http://www.messianic.co.za

John 15:1 - "I am the true vine and My Father is the gardener"
Messiah is that vineyard producing fruit and the Most High controls the vineyard. If the branch on that tree is rotted, He will cut it off. Every branch that bears fruit, He prunes so that it can bear more fruit.
John 15:2 - Pruning the tree is like cutting split ends off of our hair so that it can grow longer. Most High is shaping and molding us to cut away those dead works so we can continue to grow in our ability to be a light to other people and dressing us up to be a good servant for Him.
A mature servant is going to walk in righteousness. People want to make the Most High conform to their own will instead of people conforming to the Most High's will.
John 15:3 - We are clean by obedience to His Word
WE LOST A LOT BECAUSE OF SIN!!
· Lost Knowledge and Power
· Disconnected
· Can't use 100% of our brain
· Cain built a City
· Adam named all the animals
· Messiah walked on water
John 15:4 - If we pulled a tree from its roots, will the branches survive? We must stay rooted in the Messiah or we will fall back into this world. You have to have a desire to stay in Him and Him stay in us.
John 15:5 - Messiah is the vine and we are the branches that are supposed to be reaching out. The vine is the root, the foundation. If he is rooted in us, then others should see the beauty of righteousness in us. Without the root, we have nothing. A plant can't survive without the root.
John 15:6 - All the dead branches and leaves that fell off the tree, not bearing good fruit, dried up and died and will be collected and thrown in the fire. They have been disconnected from His vine and are not bearing any good fruit because they are dead. It is of no use.
One may say they are a good person, but the Messiah said there is no one good but the Father in the Heaven. If we are not following the laws of the Good Creator, then we are not walking in righteousness. An Atheist can still help somebody, but does that atheist give all the honor and praise to the one who made him? We are all programmed with the righteous laws on our hearts, and should be happy to praise our Heavenly Father and desire to honor Him.
John 15:7 - Stay rooted in Him, and His words in us then we can ask for anything and we will receive it. If we are rooted in Him, we will not ask for unrighteous things.
John 15:8-10 - He died for us and showed us love and showed us the way back to the Father. We must show our love for the Most High, even if it costs us our lives. We must ALWAYS stay in His love. To do this, we must guard His commands and remain obedient.
John 15:14 - In the old covenant Abraham was called the Most High's friends, because of his righteous beliefs. Messiah's taught ones are called His friends, because they love the true Way and they follow it in obedience. The key word to it all is "Love". Not love for ourselves, but for others. A true friend will lay down His life for another.
John 15:16 - The Messiah chooses us, because we chose Him. We have a choice. Why is it that everyone in the world has a bible but doesn't follow our Messiah. That's because they choose to follow what the world says, not what the Word says. It comes down to your desire to want to serve the Father in the Heavens. People think that the Bible is a book of "Suggestions" not a book of "Commandments" or guidelines to living in His righteous Kingdom.
John 15:17-21 - If we were doing what the rest of the world was doing then the world would love us. When you begin to walk in the truth as the Messiah walked, then the darkness flees from the light and will hate all those that bears the truth. When we walk as our Messiah walks, we shall be persecuted and rejected also by those in the World who persecutes Him. We have to enter in through that narrow gate.
The thing going on in the world today is very sad. We need to keep our eyes on the Kingdom to come. Most people don't even care about what is going on in the world today.
John 15:22-17 - If the Messiah hadn't come to tell the people the truth, they would have no sin; but because He came to expose the truth, we now have no excuse for not knowing when we walk in sin.
We must receive the Spirit of Truth and there are no excuses to continue in our sins!!
Many Christians claims they are saved, but the bible in truth says those that endure until the end are saved. Many fail to read the Word to understand the truth in having to be obedient in guarding the Most High's commandments. The Christian church is quick to say we are saved by grace and no longer bound by the law. They refuse to hear the Truth, so that they can continue to walk in their sins.
It is a matter of choice and desire to wanting to truly serve the Most High in Spirit and in Truth.
1 John 2:3 - "And by this we know that we know Him, if we guard His commands."
2 Peter 3:17 - "You then, beloved ones, being forewarned, watch, lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the delusion of the lawless."
Is there any other way to interpret these two verses that lawlessness means not keeping the commands? It is clear as day that the Word of the Most High finds it extremely important to keep His righteous laws.
Hebrews 10:26 - "For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter offering for sins."
Isaiah 66:16 - "For by fire and by His sword Ahayah shall judge all flesh and the slain of Ahayah shall be Many - those who set themselves apart and cleanse themselves at the gardens after 'One' in the midst, eating flesh of pigs and abomination and the mouse, are snatched away, together," declares Ahayah, The Most High.
This verse covers the prophecy of the coming Judgement Day of The Most High. And His Word is very clear on what He wants us to be doing and what He expects from us. There are no excuses for anyone to continue to sin. We are not to be eating pork or any other unclean abominable things.
