Rumours were rife in a Slovakian town this week when a river running through turned bright red.
The river in Myjava, a small municipality on the border to the Czech Republic, had changed colour over night and turned into 'blood'. Police have been called in to investigate the matter, but it is believed to be a faulty filtering system from a slaughterhouse upstream. Roman Podbrezova, 65, had gone for a morning walk when he saw the drastic change to the river which runs through the centre of the town. 'I just could not believe my eyes,' he said. 'The river was dark red. It was like something from a horror film. Blood cascading through the centre of town.' - SOTT PHILIPPINES - Soldiers were forced to hold back thousands of desperate Filipinos as they rushed to board to military planes that could only evacuate a few hundred people from the typhoon-ravaged region. About 3,000 Tacloban residents walked for miles to queue for help at the airport but just two planes arrived to take survivors to Manila, the capital of Philippines. There were scenes of chaos and devastation as families, many of whom containing young children or elderly people, were held back by soldiers. When the two Philippine Air Force C-130s arrived, people surged forward past a broken iron fence, witnesses said. But only a few hundred made it aboard and the rest were left to wait in the rain, with few supplies.
Thousands of bodies are being piled up on the streets after the devastating Typhoon Haiyan and aid agencies have warned the death toll will ‘rise sharply.’ Police and soldiers have the grim task of searching through the wreckage for bodies after entire villages and parts of cities were flattened. Makeshift mortuaries, set up in remaining intact buildings like churches, are overrun and body bags are being left outside in rows. Tens of millions of pounds worth of aid has been pledged by countries around the world and agencies say as many, as 10 million people in the developing country are in need of basic supplies such as shelter, clean water and food.Thousands of children have been killed in the category-five storm and one charity worker said two out of every five corpses she had seen were youngsters. –Daily Mail In what could be yet another symptom of climate change, residents of Nootdorp in the Netherlands woke up to a strange phenomena today: A normally pristine river had turned a bloody red color.
The cause of the red waters behind Pub 1837 in Nootdorp is almost certainly a natural bacteria or algae, says spokeswoman Inka Vogelaar of the Delfland Water Board. Although authorities say there has been no ill effects on fish, people in the area have been advised to avoid the water. Bodies of water turning red is not a new phenomena and has been reported in other areas around the world recently. Researchers believe the red waters are linked to a rise in bacteria and rare algae blooms, another symptom of our changing and warming climate. Island of debris the size of TEXAS from 2011 Japanese tsunami is headed straight for the U.S.11/7/2013
Five million tons of wreckage - the remains of homes, boats, and other remnants of shattered lives in eastern Japan - were swallowed by the ocean that day in March, and more than one million tons of flotsam continues to head towards the west coast of the US. While the first documented debris from the tragedy has already been found in California, scientists fear these new findings mean there could be a lot more to come and it might arrive all at once. - SOTT http://tuberose.com/Fluoride.html

REPENT OF OUR SINS AND TURN OUR HEARTS OVER TO HIM! COLORADO – Forecasters in Colorado are warning residents near Denver to brace for torrential overnight rains, as raging flood waters roar through the region and cloud cover hampers helicopter rescue efforts. Days of heavy rains and flooding have turned the state’s Rocky Mountain foothills into high risk zones, with dozens of washed out roads and bridges turning entire communities into disaster areas short on supplies and services. At least four people were known dead by late Sunday, with two others officially missing and presumed dead. Authorities say about 500 people were unaccounted for Sunday, while cautioning that some may be unable to communicate with loved ones while stranded and awaiting rescue. Rocky Mountain rescue management officials say as many as 1,000 people were awaiting rescue north of Denver, in an area that includes the hard-hit mountain community of Estes Park. But all airlifts were grounded Sunday because of new rains and poor visibility. Local news outlets say 50 bridges linking rural communities have been destroyed or damaged, and warn of a growing threat from mudslides and rockslides as roads crumble. Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle, speaking to reporters Saturday, said authorities were only beginning to understand the scope of the crisis. President Barack Obama has declared Colorado a major disaster zone and ordered federal help to boost state and local recovery efforts. Helicopters have plucked hundreds of people from inundated homes. One helicopter carrying Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper on a tour of the region made two stops to pick up residents waving to be rescued on Saturday. -VOA |
